Volunteers are the backbone of our ministry. We are grateful you want to join us to serve over 700 families a year.

Volunteer Job Descriptions

Special Event Planning


  • Complete designated training required to be a volunteer
  • Attend planning meetings in person or via Zoom for community outreaches, Ex. Walk for Life, Fall Banquet along with additional events approved by the board
  • Organize volunteer teams for event
  • Stay within designated budget for event
  • Prepare a follow-up report for each event including pros and cons
  • Follow Center Policies and Procedures
  • Prayer partner and participate in monthly fast
  • Attend monthly staff meetings

Sidewalk Advocate


  • Meet at least once a month at the local abortion clinic to intercede through prayer and give gifts to women encountered.  (Team goes out every Tuesday and Wednesday)
  • Report to Center ED number of encounters each time
  • Complete designated training courses required for this position
  • Follow Center Policies and Procedures
  • Prayer partner and participate in monthly fast
  • Attend monthly staff meetings

Center Volunteer


  • Organizes and keeps inventory of items coming in and going out from our Baby Boutique and literature given to clients
  • Put together bags for expectant mothers
  • Prepare mailers and other handouts
  • Perform opening and closing procedures – located in Policy and Procedure Manual
  • Learn to operate the phone system in the Center office
  • Adhere to cleaning policy in between client visits -  located in Policy and Procedure Manual
  • Complete designated training courses required to be a volunteer
  • Follow Center Policies and Procedures
  • Prayer partner and participate in monthly fast
  • Attend monthly staff meetings

Client Advocate


  • Provide crisis intervention support for each client in an atmosphere of warmth and compassion through listening and other helping skills.
  • Provide accurate information on the effects of abortion and Post Abortion Syndrome (PAS).
  • Provide information on parenting and adoption, as well as referrals.
  • Follow all policies and procedures regarding intake and in-office duties.
  • Offer support, material needs, and referrals appropriate to a client’s situation.
  • Look for teachable moments with a client to share the love of Jesus and His plan of salvation, as well as offer a list of local churches.
  • Follow up with clients according to the policies and guidelines of the center.
  • Keep current on information in the pregnancy center referral systems.
  • Maintain all client records as indicated in center policies.
  • Attend monthly staff meetings

Church Ambassador


  • Connect your church or ministry leaders to our center
  • Share the vision and mission of our ministry and open the door for partnership.
  • Complete designated training courses required to be a volunteer
  • Follow Center Policies and Procedures
  • Prayer partner and participate in monthly fast
  • Attend monthly staff meetings

Community Outreach


  • Plan and participate in community outreaches at various locations such as school campuses and the local mall
  • Take literature and gift bags when speaking to the community about the services offered through our center.
  • Report to the Center ED about outreach efforts – number of encounters and gift bags given.
  • Complete designated training courses required to be a volunteer
  • Follow Center Policies and Procedures
  • Prayer partner and participate in monthly fast
  • Attend monthly staff meetings
